Most awaited Bollywood releases for the month of December 2021: You must know before watching.

As the theaters just opened last month, there is quite a lot of movies and web series lined up for the month of December. So here is a list of December 2021’s Bollywood releases both theatrically and  on streaming apps.

      • TADAP

        Tadap is the upcoming debut movie of Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty alongside Tara Sutaria. Directed by Milan Luthria, it is an official remake of the Telugu film RX100 (2018).

        This is produced by Saajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, with Fox Star Studios serving as distributer and co producer. It is scheduled to be released theatrically on 3 December 2021.

        The story revolves around two star-crossed lovers, when their passionate relationship is threaten by unforeseen circumstances.

      Bob Biswas

      Bob Biswas is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language crime thriller film directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh. It is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.

      The film features Abhishek Bachchan and Chitrangada Singh. It serves as a spin-off to the 2012 thriller Kahaani. The film will now premiere on 3 December 2021 on ZEE5.

      Cobalt Blue
      Cobalt Blue is an upcoming romantic drama movie releasing on 3 December 2021 on Netflix. It is based on director Sachin Kundalkar’s best-selling novel of the same name.

      It reels off the story of a brother  and sister  who fall in love with the same man and how their family is shattered by the ensuing events. The flim stars Prateik Babbar, Neelay Mehendale, Anjali Sivaraman in lead roles.

    Inside edge season 3
    Inside Edge is an Indian sports-drama streaming television series created by Karan Anshuman and released on Amazon Prime Video. The series centers on the Mumbai Mavericks, a fictional T20 cricket team, whose owners operate a league-wide spot-fixing syndicate.

    It stars an ensemble cast, featuring Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chada, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Tanuj Virwani, Angad Bedi, Sayani Gupta, Aamir Bashir, and Sapna Pabbi, as well as Manu Rishi, Amit Sial, Karan Oberoi, and Asha Saini. It  is getting bigger and more ambitious with every new season.

    The Amazon Prime series, which will arrive with its third installment on 3 December, is making the game of cricket intense on field, and murkier off it.

      Chandigarh kare aashiqui

      Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is a romantic comedy drama film directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by T-Series in collaboration with Guy In The Sky Pictures.

      Announced in July 2020 the film features Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles. It is scheduled for theatrical release on 10 December 2021.
      Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is a love story between a cross-functional athlete, Ayushmann, and  Vaani Kapoor.

      American streaming service Netflix will release its 7 episode long mystery thriller Aranyak starring Raveena Tandon, Ashutosh Rana and Saurav Khurana on 10 December.

      The movie has been co-produced by Siddharth Roy Kapoor’s Roy Kapoor Films. The story is about  political ploys, personal agendas and a beastly myth all surface as two mismatched hill station cops navigate a web of suspects after a puzzling murder.

      It  is based on a Bengali novel of the same name by the celebrated Bengali author Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay. The novel was written over a period of 2 years, between 1937 and 1939, when Bandopadhyay had spent his life in the woods of northern Bihar.

    • VELLE

      Velle is an upcoming Hindi language comedy drama staring Karan Deol, Anya Singh, Abhay Deol, Mouni Roy, Zakir Hussain, Visshesh Tiwari, and Savant Singh Premi. It is scheduled to be released on 10 December 2021.

      Comedy reels the story of three criminals, a runaway girl, her three best friends, an aspiring director and a star cross paths due to an incident. Will they come off better for it or worse?

      Netflix’s next drama Decoupled follows the story of a writer and his wife who announce their divorce with a party, which ends up exposing other absurd relationships in their world.

      The R. Madhavan and Surveen Chawla starrer is going to be released on 17 December 2021 on the streaming giant.

    • 83

      83 is an upcoming  biographical sports drama film directed by Kabir Khan and jointly produced by Khan Vishnuvardhan Induri, Deepika Padukone and Sajid Nadiadwala.

      Co-distributed by Reliance Entertainment, the film stars Ranveer Singh as cricketer Kapil Dev, along with Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya and Sahil Khattar.

      It is releasing on 24 December 2021. The story is about India’s incredible cricket World Cup victory in 1983.

      Atrangi Re
      Atrangi Re is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language musical romantic drama film directed by Aanand L. Rai. Produced by T-Series, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films, the film stars Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles and an extended cameo of Akshay Kumar. Music of the film is composed by A R Rahman. The film is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on 24 December 2021, coinciding Christmas.
